Today, BABE is a cornerstone of support for local families, empowering parents to make informed decisions for their children’s health and well-being. Through an innovative incentive program, BABE encourages participation in wellness programs and services, rewarding families with coupons that can be redeemed for essential items like diapers, clothing, car seats, and more. With over 40 partner providers, including doctors, libraries, and community organizations, BABE creates a network of care for families with children from birth through age six. Beyond tangible resources, BABE fosters a sense of community, offering classes and connections that nurture mental and physical wellness. Thanks to its efforts, Whitley County now boasts one of Indiana’s lowest percentages of low birth-weight babies, underscoring BABE’s commitment to giving every child the best possible start in life.
