July 19, 2023 – We are excited to announce that BABE’s next home will be inside Columbia City United Methodist Church. The church has kindly offered to rent a large section of their building for our new home while we continue to look for a stand-alone location in Whitley County. This space will allow us plenty of room for our growing classes, a space for children, and room for all of the diapers, wipes, clothing, and baby supplies that fill our store.
The last day we’ll be open at our Line street address is August 3. We plan to re-open at our new location on August 30.
New location: 605 Forest Parkway in Columbia City

April 26, 2023 – Big news! We’ve begun the search for a new BABE location! Unfortunately, our current location is preparing to be sold. In the meantime, we’ll remain in our current building until it is sold.
Below are some frequently asked questions about our move.
Does this mean BABE is closing?
No. We will continue to serve the families of Whitley County.
Why is the building being sold?
For years we’ve rented this building. The owner has decided to sell.
What happens if the building sells before a new location is found?
Our board is working on a contingency plan so we can still provide the services, classes, and resources families of Whitley County have had access to since BABE began twenty years ago.
What can I do to help?
